Kid's Festival

Thank you so much for keeping us and the festival in your prayers! Everything went smoothly and we had about 60 kids!! The children had been told last week that it would start at 3:30 and they started showing up at 2:00. :) Putting up the baloons was a challenge because they were old and kept popping! The laughter made things go faster. There were songs, games, puppets, and a hilarious skit. In the skit a little clown is sad because she wants to go to Heaven but doesn't know how. So a mean clown comes along trying to sell her Superman's cape to fly, baloons to float, and wings to flap her way to Heaven. Finally Jossy came along and explained that Jesus is the only way
to Heaven. They did some crafts and then we said goodbye with another song and goodie bags. The kids who stayed later had a ton of fun pulling the baloons down and making them pop!
All in all it was a great time. We got to love on the kids and they understand the gospel. Please pray with us that they will always choose to live for Christ.

Pillows and Pijamas

This past Sunday we had a pijama party in the church. It was a blessing and very fun. Before starting with the movies we had a time of prayer and worship. After that Jossy asked us a few questions so that we could get to know each other better. Every lady took her turn answering the question and took a little cookie out of the jar afterwards. We laughed, we cried, and we became sisters. It was a special time and I'm excited for the next time we do another event.
